Manage the different settings of Windows 10, including disabling the Microsoft Compliance Telemetry and other features that could decrease user satisfaction. As well as see the Fast Start status which if disabled could impact the user.

Script Manage Windows User Experience

Script Description

Improves the professional Windows working experience by removing or disabling certain commercial features. The script is designed for Windows 10 Enterprise (1607 and later).

Execution context and suggested scheduling

Run the script as local system. The script should be executed manually.

A timeout of 120 seconds is recommended.

Parameters

1 Campaign Id UID of the Windows User Experience campaign. It informs user that their device should be manually rebooted to apply system changes

Configures Data Collection Group Policy as ‘Security’ to limit data sent to Microsoft to obligatory only.

Retrieves Microsoft Compatibility Telemetry data level, whether scheduled tasks and service related are enabled and running from a device. The possible data level values are:
* Not available – The value could not be retrieved.
* Security – Security data only.
* Basic – Security data, and basic system and quality data.
* Enhanced – Security data, basic system and quality data, and enhanced insights and advanced reliability data.
* Full – Security data, basic system and quality data, enhanced insights and advanced reliability data, and full diagnostics data.

A timeout of 120 seconds is recommended.
