Description

Nexthink Application Experience delivers real-time visibility into employee experience with and adoption of SaaS applications.

This Remote Action enables you to display the status of Application Experience browser extensions across every device in your landscape, on all supported browsers.Status can be Enabled, Disabled or Not Installed.

This allows you to identify which devices need the extension enabled or installed to ensure you continue to receive and work with highly accurate Application Experience insight.

To enable or disable the browser extension, please refer to the Configure Browser Extension Library Pack.

Get Application Experience Browser Extension Status

Script Description

Displays the status (Enabled, Disabled or Not installed) of the Application Experience extension on all supported browsers (Chrome, Edge and Firefox).

Execution context and suggested scheduling

Run the script as 'interactive user'. The script should be executed manually.

A timeout of 120 seconds is recommended.

Parameters

None.

Outputs

Chrome Appex Status String Extension enabled, Extension disabled or Extension not installed
Edge String Returns 'Browser Present' or 'Browser not present' depending if Edge browser is installed

Firefox String Returns 'Browser Present' or 'Browser not present' depending if Firefox browser is installed
Firefox Appex Status String Extension enabled, Extension disabled or Extension not installed

Further Information

If none of the supported browsers do not match their minimum supported versions (Chrome=65, Edge=90 and Firefox=78) the remote action will also fail.
If Nexthink collector version is lower than 6.30 the remote action will fail.
