Windows Domain Management

Perform investigations of domain related features, such as status of joining domain, and processing status of Group Policies.

Description

Domain investigation features included:

  • Test whether the device is joined to the domain.
  • List processing status of Group Policies in scope of a Computer on a target device.
  • Get the date where the password was last updated.
  • Get the name and the controller it is assigned to.

Script Test Domain Connection

Script Description

Checks if the device is joined to the domain, as well as the domain connection status including the last time when the device updated the password.

Execution context and suggested scheduling

Run the script as local system. The script should be executed manually.

1 Domain String Name and the controller that device is joined to
2 Last Device Password Update Date DateTime Date when device last time updated password with the domain
3 Days Since Last Device Password Update Int Number of days since device last time updated its password with the domain

Further Information

Last password update date is formatted as ‘dd/MM/yyyy’.

Script Get Computer Assigned Group Policy

  • Version 1.0.0.0 – Initial release

Script Description

Retrieves assigned Group Policies on target device in scope of a Computer, and lists a reason in case of policy processing failure.

Execution context and suggested scheduling

Run the script as local system. The script should be executed manually.
